Sensemaking for Change & Game Changers™ | 11 November 2025
On 11 November 2025, we partnered with the Executive and Senior Leadership team at SA Power Networks (SAPN) for a dedicated Leadership Day focused on Sensemaking for Change and our immersive Game Changers™ experience.
In a sector defined by operational complexity, regulatory demands, and system-wide transformation, the objective was clear:
Create the space for leaders to pause, reflect, and build a shared understanding of how change is experienced across the organisation.
We opened with Sensemaking for Change — exploring the neuroscience of change, mental models, and one of the most important reframes in leadership:
People don’t resist change.
They react when change doesn’t make sense.
For Executive and Senior Leaders, this shift matters.
In complex environments, strategy can be sound — but if teams cannot make sense of what’s happening, momentum slows. The session invited leaders to examine:

The afternoon centred on Game Changers™, powered by the CM16™ Change Mental Models framework.
Participants completed a short diagnostic and then mapped their engagement preferences in real time. The experience makes something often invisible — visible.

Ambivalence.
All present in the room. All valid. All influential.
For senior leaders, this is a powerful moment. It surfaces the diversity of thinking that exists even at the top of an organisation — and reinforces that alignment cannot be assumed.
